My client is a leading prototype/small production manufacturer of printed circuit boards. They produce a wide and varied range of product, from the simplest single-sided circuit board to very complex multilayer constructions in both rigid and flexi-rigid formats.

Successfull candidates would be responsible for one or other of the following areas:
The introduction and improvement of new processes for the fabrication of rigid or fully flexible PCB's.
Working in the Front-End tooling department translating customer data, drawings, specifications and other requirements into a package suitable for PCB manufacture. 

It would be of interest if you had some experience in the production of printed circuit boards. The following list includes some areas which would be useful but is not exhaustive:
day to day production planning and throughput support of a PCB process operation.
tools such as Genesis, Omega or PCP for CAM activities and the production of route cards and instructions. 
specialised PCB fabrication skills.
adapting CNC tooling sets to work with alternative process machining.

Main Accountabilities
Complete business improvement projects ensuring value-added application of LSS methodologies, tools and standards.

Essential Experience

Good understanding of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven software development skills C/C++.

Familiarity with video compression techniques including JPEG 2000, MPEG, JPEG an asset, networks, streaming, server/client experience.
Development of low-level (driver or embedded) software.
Experience with the integration and debug of software with new hardware

Advantageous skills &amp; experience:
Experience with PCI, Compact PCI, VME and PMC.
