<strong>Job Summary </strong>
The Positioning-to-Win (PTW) Analyst performs analysis for selected opportunities. Must work closely with capture teams while remaining independent, and analyze recent and emerging competitor, customer and industry trends to determine impacts on source selections and competitor offers/solutions. The position involves collecting data, analyzing a wide variety of approaches, applications, and solutions/technologies for a diverse set of new business pursuits. 

<strong>Responsibilities 
</strong>The Positioning-to-Win (PTW) Analyst performs analysis for selected opportunities. Must work closely with capture teams while remaining independent, and analyze recent and emerging competitor, customer and industry trends to determine impacts on source selections and competitor offers/solutions. The position involves collecting data, analyzing a wide variety of approaches, applications, and solutions/technologies for a diverse set of new business pursuits. The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to develop detailed knowledge of customer buying patterns, competitor bid tendencies, market and environment influences, and assess competitor technical/business strategies and capabilities and the resulting impact on win strategies, to include pricing and solution/offer design. Tasks require knowledge and understanding of current technology and industry trends, engineering disciplines, rapid development of high level architectures, architecture and/or manufacturing processes and disciplines, and business case analysis, to develop competitor bidding strategies to include cost/price modelling and solution estimation/development. The analyst must be able to develop multiple perspectives through development of a highly interactive live or virtual team, provide timely PTW recommendations, and justify those recommendations with data, analysis and insights. The analyst must also present PTW recommendations to capture teams and executive level decision-makers to enable comprehensive, situation-based decision making. The position involves frequent presentations to senior executives.<strong>

Key Responsibilities:
</strong></p>

    <li>Supporting new business capture:</li><li>Become fully conversant with our clients  capture processes and support capture and business development managers.</li><li>Lead capture review milestones on behalf of capture and business development management.</li><li>Lead Customer Value Proposition workshops and report outcomes to capture and business development management.</li><li>Lead Position to Win and Price To Win activities in support of capture milestone events and coordinate necessary resources.</li><li>Manage and develop competitive intelligence function in support of new business capture.</li><li>Manage and report new business opportunities from open source information outlets.</li><li>Act as the primary interface in to the business development teams for government and industry groups and assist in identifying new business and R&D opportunities.</li><li>Lead and coordinate customer engagement plans and databases.</li><li>Create and maintain a fully searchable database for our clients  customers.</li><li>Act as the point of contact for major UK customer events such as  trade shows.</li><li>Provide functional leadership and guidance to intern personnel as required</li></ul>

Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and approaches to assignment. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-term perspective, for desired results.</li><li>Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives.</li><li>Applies extensive technical expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.</li><li>Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.</li><li>Develops technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.</li><li>Proven business analysts skills in support of new business growth and competitive/market intelligence</li><li>Competitive anlaysis and reporting</li><li>Price to Win analysis</li><li>Database management</li></ul>
      <p>Due to the nature of our clients business candidates must be able to obtain a SC.  Some local and international travel may be involved in this role.</p>
