Job Description :

If you think you?ve got what it takes to become my clients new Innovation Manager who will support and develop the community engagement initiatives and programmes on time then we want to hear from you!

Purpose:

* To manage and deliver innovative social value aligned to community aspirations.
* To ensure community engagement initiatives and programmes are met in time and exceed the social value plan.
* To ensure involvement in supporting worthwhile causes with innovative and resourceful aspirations in keeping with Corporate Social Responsibility Policy (CSR) and promotion of Social Value delivery.

The Role:

* Work with the Community Investment and Regeneration Delivery Groups to ensure the Social Value Plan aligns with community aspiration
* Provide robust measurement against Community Investment Activity report
* Manage the investment budget, providing business cases for proposed improvements
* Coordinate training, work experience and employment opportunities across all partners
* Liaise with local colleges to maximise opportunities for residents
* Use position of visiting/working with every resident to promote Estate facilities as well as promoting any key messages and initiatives to ensure a joined up approach
* Act as a catalyst for coordinating key partners for the duration of the works & beyond
* Track funding pots, making and supporting applications to relevant bodies to secure tangible Estate improvements, working at all times with appropriate local stakeholders
* Administer funding body performance returns to ensure full monies are achieved
* Source, support and facilitate training for Volunteers as a route to work and fulfilment
* Look at the barriers to inclusion and employment and provide mitigating measures

Education/Qualifications/Qualities:

* Minimum three years? experience managing and delivering community or regeneration projects with a training, skills and employability bias
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
* Good at developing relationships
* Good team player
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Able to manage work load and respond to deadlines
* Able to work remotely
* Good IT skills
* Good budget management and reporting skills
* Good level of maths and English skills
