Job Description : |
Applicants are invited for a Production Engineer within the Electrical Machine section of the Manufacturing Department, based in Rugby. The Purpose of the role is to provide production process efficiency of the cell/line.
Main Duties & responsibilities are:
To develop, evaluate & improve manufacturing methods, by utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, parts, fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods & quality control standards
Analyse processes: cycle timing work studies, balance tasks meet time requirement
Analyse quality issues by using problem solving techniques.
Health & Safety
Ensure all equipment & machinery meets exceeds statutory regulations
Ensure all equipment & machinery risk assessments are completed
To cooperate fully with all safe working practices
Contribute to the implementation of such practices when necessary
